Honors & Awards - Lambda Alpha

Lambda Alpha is the National Collegiate Honors Society for Anthropology, represented by 170 chapters across the U.S.

Membership in Lambda Alpha at UB is open to Anthropology majors who have taken a minimum of 12 credits of Anthropology coursework, and who have a GPA of at least 3.5 in Anthropology courses, and a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5. Membership is also open to graduate students.

Membership requires only a simple application and a one-time fee of $25, for lifetime membership.

Among the benefits of Lambda Alpha member is eligibility to apply for a $5000 scholarship for graduating seniors, and a research fund for graduate student members.
